Hello everyone, my mealworms d'ont turning into a pupae about two weeks. I have my HIVE about 2 months, and I just collect one baby mealworms tray. They eat every day and they are big, but they aren't turning into a pupae. Why? And without pupae, no beetles to.
Starting at about 70 days, baby will grow and turn into pupae. You will have to wait a bit longer.
Elt, thank you for your answer, but my question is for the others trays. In the others trays the mealworms d'ont turn into a pupae, and they are bigs. Why?
Hi Cristina, I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. Did you start with the starter kid? Could you send some pictures of the different trays?
Hi, this is my images of the trays without pupaes.
Strange, these worms look healthy. Is the hive switched on? I wonder wether they could eat more dry food. I’m using the bedding feeding method. Each tray contains a small layer of oats. Are there other farmers who can share their thoughts?
Elt thank you, my worms restarted the transformation, certainly I need to wait more. But know I have another question, I a lot of pupaes are dying?
